LGMA Executive Management Program

The next Executive Management Program will take place from 22-24 September 2010 at the City of Melville.

This highly interactive 3-day program is the only one of its kind where the content is Local Government specific. All presenters are seriously knowledgeable, highly experienced Local Government officers.

In the three years it has been running it has gained a great reputation as meeting a genuine need for Local Government officers seeking to reach the higher levels of the profession.

The program is intended for individuals seeking a better understanding of executive management in Local Government, including those new to the industry, those who aspire, or have recently been appointed, to a CEO or Senior Manager Position in Local Government or existing senior managers seeking a refresher.

Participants who undertake this course will benefit from three days of ‘face to face’ sessions, workshops and group activities, and will leave with a comprehensive understanding of the role and responsibilities of Chief Executive Officers in Local Government. The program also includes a dinner with fellow participants and presenters on Wednesday 23 September.

The program is professionally facilitated by Mary Power from Henderson, Power & Associates. She will be assisted by experienced practitioners from Local Government and private industry.

There is a cap on the number of attendees at each course so if you are interested in the September 2010 course please contact the office.
