Local Government Managers Australia are proud to announce the 2009 Finance Professionals Conference, a two-day conference providing a forum for finance directors, managers and officers from the metro and regional councils.

Themes of the conference have been chosen to reflect and support finance professionals working in local government with the knowledge and practical skills needed to support, inspire and enhance their career.

Speakers have been chosen to share the secrets to their success including leadership techniques, stress management and life balance tips and investment strategies. Conference speakers are represented from both the public sector and from private enterprise, providing industry perspective and working advice.

Participants can look forward to an entertaining conference dinner on the evening of 26 February as part of the conference, and accommodation at the conference venue can also be arranged for delegates.
